Brittany and Jake's Hill Country Wedding - Bergheim Ranch
The charm of the Hill Country attracts engaged couples from all over. The beauty of the countryside and the rustic charm has been a draw for years. For Brittany and Jake the Hill Country was the perfect place for their wedding.
Bergheim Ranch sits about halfway between Bulverde and Boerne, and embodies all the qualities of a great country wedding location. Open spaces and fantastic sunset views greeted friends, family, and guests, as everyone gathered to witness a beautiful ceremony.
Brittany and Jake exchanged heartfelt vows under a gorgeous Texas sky. Weddings are a mix of emotions, and it seemed that all the "feels" were there throughout the ceremony for everyone attending. The joy and excitement became so evident as the two stopped for a kiss as they exited the ceremony.
We set up for some group photos before everyone gathered for the reception, toasts, dances and dinner. At sunset is where Bergheim Ranch really glows. The sun cascades through the open air barn creating a fairytale moment that truly makes a wedding seem like a dream.
We signaled to them, and quickly led them out to the field for some sunset photos. Capturing the beauty of this setting with Brittany and Jake was an inspiration. It was an opportunity to capture some incredible images for a fantastic couple.
Before we knew it we were back to the reception for more dancing and other key moments of the evening. As the reception wound down we realized how much of a joy it was to document the interactions between everyone. Capturing the emotion of the day was beautiful.
