Arianna and Santiago's Texas Hill Country Wedding - Historic Don Strange Ranch
If you take a drive out I-10 West from San Antonio it doesn't take long for the highway to get hilly and the countryside to open into ranch land. Just past Boerne the real beauty of the Texas Hill Country begins. In an area dotted by small communities such as Welfare, Waring, Sisterdale, and Comfort the historic Don Strange Ranch was host for Arianna and Santiago's wedding ceremony and reception.
The drive out helps set the stage for the beauty of this Texas area. When you finally get on the winding farm roads you can see why the pace of life is more laid back and why rustic weddings have become so popular. Entering Don Strange Ranch is like stepping back in time to a simpler and friendly way of life.
This laid-back atmosphere was perfect for Arianna and Santiago. It was apparent immediately that the day was about friends, family, and enjoying the opportunity for everyone to come together in celebration. The laughter and buzz in the bridal suite made for a fun lead up to the day, while the guys enjoyed some drinks and cigars before the couple had their "first-touch".
While there are always some nerves among the couple leading up the ceremony, Arianna and Santiago had a wonderful vendor team in place to keep the day on track and to make sure all the details were taken care of. The ceremony was magical inside the historic barn lined with string lights and family. One couldn't help but feel the motion as the couple exchanged vows and expressed their love for one another.
The lively atmosphere continued as the reception got underway with toasts, dinner, dancing, and cake. There was always something happening throughout the night and the dance floor was the hub of activity. It seemed no-one was ready the night to be over and they still had a full crowd when the time came for their bubble exit. Congrats to Arianna and Santiago and thanks to all the vendors that made the day great.
