Your wedding day moves fast, and most of what makes it worth remembering happens in between the posed moments, not during them. We photograph weddings the way they actually unfold: real reactions, real conversations, the parts of the day nobody planned but everyone remembers.

We've photographed engagement sessions and weddings across the Corpus Christi and coastal Texas area, from Cinnamon Shore in Port Aransas to The Ranch at San Patricio in Mathis. Each location asks something different of us, and we've spent time learning what that is before your day arrives.

How We Work

We stay out of the way. Rather than directing every shot, we pay attention and step in only when it helps the day rather than interrupts it. Couples tell us afterward that they forgot we were there, right up until they see the photos and realize how much we caught.

 Meet Walstonphoto

We're Royce and Michelle. We're drawn to the unscripted moments, the playfulness between a couple, the way friends and family show up for each other on a wedding day. We'd rather capture what's already happening than ask you to recreate it for the camera.

One of our favorite things to hear from couples afterward: "we didn't even know that happened." That's usually a good sign.

We are experts at Catholic Weddings!

Real Weddings and Sessions in the Area

Couples we've had the chance to photograph in the Corpus Christi and coastal area:

Cinnamon Shore Engagement Session — Jasmine & Rino — an evening session on the beach in Port Aransas.

The Ranch at San Patricio — Hannah & Adri — a rustic engagement session outside Mathis.

Venues We're Familiar With

A few of the venues couples in this area consider most often:

The Courtyard at Gaslight Square — a historic courtyard setting downtown, good natural framing for a ceremony.

Omni Corpus Christi Hotel — waterfront views of the bay, with flexible indoor and outdoor space.

The Bay Jewel Event Center — a restored interior with high ceilings and large windows, good even light through most of the day.

The Ranch at San Patricio — open pasture and a chapel setting outside Mathis. (linked directly to the real session instead of the venue's own site, since you have coverage there)

The Reserve at Dancing Elk — expansive grounds suited to a larger guest list.

Curious what a wedding at any of these could look like through our lens? Take a look at our full venue guide for the Corpus Christi area.
