We worked closely with Nathan to map out every detail. He wanted something elegant and peaceful, but also them. That’s where Sydney from @syd.in.bloom came in clutch. She crafted a soft floral setup with ivory tones that fit perfectly with Havana’s romantic aesthetic—minimal, but impactful. Loryn had no idea what was waiting for her.

Nathan and Loryn arrived at the hotel under the pretense of having a work gathering on the Terrace and some drinks at Ocho (@ocho_satx), the hotel's famous riverside restaurant. (Pro tip: if you’re ever looking to celebrate something special in San Antonio, Ocho's glass conservatory space gives major "rom-com final scene" energy.)

The Moment She Said Yes
As she stepped out on the terrace to meet Nathan, He was standing at the end of a path lined with photos of the two of them and ending in a floral setup right behind him. Her face lit up before he even dropped to one knee.
She gasped. He smiled. The ring was out, and the next thing we knew, Loryn was saying yes with happy tears in her eyes.
Every proposal is different, but this one had a surreal stillness. Like the city paused for just a second to make room for them.

We even grabbed a few spontaneous shots as a boat parade made its way down the Riverwalk. When the city slowly began to sparkle as the sun dipped below the trees we captured some more elegant images on the front stairs to the door.
