What to Expect After Your Wedding Ends

Most of the planning conversation happens before the wedding: what time the ceremony starts, who's in which photo, how the day will flow. Less gets said about what happens after, once the day is actually over and you're waiting to see it. Here's how that part works.

Your First Photos Come Sooner Than You'd Think

You'll see photos from your wedding before you've even left the building. During the reception, once you sit down to eat, we pull a small set of images from the day so far, edit them quickly, and put together a slideshow that loops for the rest of the night. We set it up somewhere easy to see, so you and your guests can watch it while the evening continues around you. The full set goes out to you the next day.

Most couples are surprised by how fast this part happens. It's not something we announce ahead of time. It just happens while the celebration is still going.

Your Full Gallery: Within 7 Days

Your complete online gallery is ready within 7 days of your wedding. This is every image from the day, fully edited, in one place you can share with family, order prints from, and come back to whenever you want. There's no expiration on your access to it. Whenever you want to revisit the day, the gallery is there.

Your USB: 14 Days

About two weeks after your wedding, a USB drive with every full-resolution image arrives in the mail. Every session and package includes a full print release, so once you have your images, you're free to print them anywhere you'd like, order enlargements, or build your own keepsakes outside of what we offer directly.

If Your Package Includes an Album

Our top two packages include a wedding album, and an album can also be added to any other package or session if you'd like one.

The proof. About 14 days after your wedding, you'll receive a digital proof of your album layout through an online link. This is where you review the design and let us know about any changes, swaps, additions, or removals you'd like.

Revisions. Once you request changes, we turn them around within 24 to 48 hours. We'll keep revising until the layout feels right to you. There's no cap on how many rounds that takes.

Production. Once you approve a final layout, your album is sent to Serendipity Album for production. Albums are available in leather or fabric, with leather being the more popular choice. Depending on your package, your album starts at either 10x10 with 15 spreads or 12x12 with 20 spreads, and additional spreads can be added if you'd like more coverage. Production typically takes 4 to 5 weeks before your finished album arrives.

Canvas, Metal, and Framed Prints

If your package includes or you've added on printed products like canvas art, metal prints, or framed prints, those are processed through our in-town lab, with a typical turnaround of 5 to 7 days.
