Table of contents:
San Antonio
La Cantera Resort & Spa
Sitting above the Hill Country, La Cantera offers dramatic elevation and golden hour light that changes depending on where the ceremony is set. We've photographed both full evening receptions and smaller outdoor-dinner celebrations here. See the full venue page.
McNay Art Museum
Set on the museum's Spanish Colonial Revival grounds, the McNay offers two distinct ceremony spaces — the Gazebo & Fish Pond area and the Main Fountain courtyard — plus indoor portraits inside the galleries. The museum restricts open flame, confetti, and glitter, which we plan around when timing the day.
San Fernando Cathedral
Founded in 1838 in downtown San Antonio, San Fernando Cathedral is a working Catholic cathedral, with cool stone, high ceilings, and stained glass light that shifts through the day. See the full venue page.
The Veranda
A 1931 estate in Castle Hills, the Veranda gives couples three distinct reception settings under one roof — an open-air courtyard, an indoor ballroom, and a covered pavilion. See the full venue page.
The Gardens at West Green
An oak-shaded ceremony space with a gazebo for portraits and winding garden paths that photograph well in any season. See the full venue page.
The 1850 Settlement
Sitting on the edge of Cibolo Creek, this German-heritage settlement has a rustic, vintage character that suits documentary coverage well, with golden hour light that lines up naturally with the property's open fields. See the full venue page.
New Braunfels & Gruene
Allen Farmhaus
Allen Farmhaus pairs an open-air chapel with a reception barn, and its open fields catch a golden-hour glow that's become one of the most requested shots couples ask for. See the full venue page.
Gruene Estate
Minutes from the Gruene Historic District, Gruene Estate's ceremony chapel has no walls, just wooden beams and open sky, so ceremony portraits come out consistently bright and naturally lit. See the full venue page.
Old Mill Weddings and Events
A Hill Country property just outside historic Gruene, with towering oak trees and both outdoor and indoor ceremony options — useful when Texas weather doesn't cooperate. See the full venue page.
