Royce grew up in Waco, and his family still calls it home. We're based just outside San Antonio now, but Waco isn't a market we drive into, it's a place we know before we ever pick up a camera there. We know which side of the Suspension Bridge catches the best light in the evening, we know Magnolia Market gets crowded by mid-morning, and we know the small back roads that get you from a ceremony on one side of town to portraits on the other without losing golden hour.
That familiarity changes how we work. We're not scouting a new city on your wedding day. We're photographing a place we already understand, for a couple whose day matters as much to us as any we shoot closer to home.
Many couples worry about looking awkward in front of the camera. Others fear their wedding photos won’t truly capture their personalities. You deserve a photographer who understands how to blend in, anticipate moments, and create images that feel like YOU.
That’s where we come in.
Some couples already know what documentary photography means. Others come across the term while researching and want to understand what it looks like in practice. Here's our approach in plain terms.
We spend your wedding day observing rather than directing. That means minimal posing, no forced moments, and a focus on the interactions that happen naturally between you, your partner, and the people you love. We're drawn to the in-between moments as much as the traditional ones — a hand on a shoulder before the ceremony, the walk between spaces, the way a room reacts during a toast. The result is a set of images that reads less like a highlight reel and more like the day actually felt.
We believe in letting your day unfold naturally while we document every meaningful glance, joyful tear, and spontaneous laugh. Our approach ensures you get:
Candid, Emotion-Filled Images – No forced smiles, just real moments.
Timeless, True-to-Life Editing – Your photos will stand the test of time.
A Stress-Free Experience – Enjoy your wedding day while we handle the rest.
Vintage Oaks Ranch — Just outside Waco, Vintage Oaks gave Maddie & Zach an outdoor ceremony with the kind of golden hour light that made their album one of our favorites from this area. Open land, mature trees, and a setting that doesn't need much dressing up.
The County Line – West, TX — Alissa & Mike's wedding here was one of our favorite days of the year, rolling fields, family close by, and a Texas sunset that closed out the night. Read their story
Earle-Harrison House — Historic, elegant, picturesque Hotel 1928 — Vintage, sophisticated, timeless Hotel Herringbone — Modern, stylish, urban Dove Nest Estate — Romantic, serene, versatile Anthem STORIES — Downtown Waco, restored historic space Carleen Bright Arboretum — Woodway, floor-to-ceiling windows onto the grounds

Most couples book their photographer 9 to 12 months out, and Waco fills up fast around Baylor's spring commencement and football season, when hotels and venues across the city get booked solid. If your date is sooner than that, reach out anyway — we sometimes have availability closer to the date than couples expect, particularly for weekday or off-season weddings.

Are you actually based in Waco? We're based just outside San Antonio, but Royce grew up in Waco and his family is still there. We photograph weddings in Waco regularly and know the city well beyond what a typical out-of-town photographer would.
When should we book? We recommend 9 to 12 months out, especially if your date falls near a Baylor home game weekend or spring commencement.
Do you travel outside Waco? Yes. We cover Waco, Hillsboro, Temple, Belton, Salado, and the rest of Central Texas, along with destination weddings across the country.
What is included? All packages include two photographers, high-resolution edited images, a shareable online gallery, and options for albums or prints.
What if it rains on our wedding day? We build a backup plan into every timeline we help create. A change in plans doesn't mean a change in how the day gets documented.
How soon after the wedding do we get our photos? You'll get a sneak peek before you leave for your honeymoon, then a full online gallery within a week. USB and prints follow within 14 days.
