Fully candid. We arrive early and find a position where we're out of sight or blend in with the environment. At locations like Cameron Park, the Suspension Bridge, Baylor, or the Silos at Magnolia we just seem like a photography couple taking pictures of the location. Your partner has no idea we are there to capture a proposal. This works best when they'd suspicious of our next approach, or when the proposal is in a touristy spot.
Photoshoot that becomes a proposal. We book the session as an ordinary couple's shoot. It just seems like a photoshoot for the two of you. Partway through, when we give you the signal, you propose. This is the better option when a fully hidden setup isn't practical for the location, or you know they will go along with a photos session without asking questions.
We'll talk through your partner's personality and the location you're leaning toward, and help you land on the approach that gives you the best shot at a genuine reaction.

Wind off the river is common, so we'd steer away from anything with a full skirt or loose scarf that could become distracting mid-moment.
Beyond that, keep it simple. Solid colors and muted tones photograph better against Waco's backdrops than busy patterns, especially near the brick and greenery at Magnolia. You don't need to match each other exactly, just avoid colors that clash with where you're proposing.
